Can be safely connected to heating/cooling vents that meet all of the following criteria:

Straight horizontal or vertical blade (not curved or round blade)

Vents must be at least 63 mm (2.5 inches) wide (vertical blades) or tall (horizontal blades)

Blade depth must be between 7-23 mm (1/4" to 7/8")

The gap between blades must be at least 8 mm (5/16 inch)

The blade must be strong and not easily removable
